Financial management, bookkeeping, and practical business support for owner-managed businesses - without the corporate feel. Maybe the bookkeeping's fallen behind, cash flow feels unclear, or the numbers just aren't telling you what you need to know. At Numerarti, I take that weight off your shoulders - with no jargon, no overwhelm, and someone genuinely in your corner.

You didn't start your business to become your own bookkeeper.
And you don't have to be.

The cost of good financial support isn't an expense - it's an investment in your business, your time, and your peace of mind.

Support that starts where you are - and grows with you.

Foundation
The day-to-day, handled.

Bookkeeping, reporting, financial organisation - records accurate, up to date, and never something you're worrying about.

Ongoing
Visibility and steadiness.

Regular cash flow awareness, management information, and someone keeping a professional eye on how things are moving.

Bigger picture
Clarity for what comes next.

Business sense-checks, planning conversations, and the kind of financial clarity that helps you run the business more confidently.

The relationship

The conversations. The questions. The 'what does this actually mean for my business?'

However we work together - this is what the relationship looks like.

Good financial management isn't just about keeping the records straight - or satisfying HMRC and moving on. It's about understanding what those records are telling you, spotting something early before it becomes a problem, and having someone who knows your numbers well enough to give you genuinely useful guidance when it matters. This is the advisory side of what I do. The thinking, the insight, and the relationship that makes the numbers mean something.

Where Is All the Money Going?
You're working hard, invoicing regularly - and somehow the bank balance never quite reflects it.

Bills arrive in clusters. Income comes in waves. And somewhere in the middle, it's hard to know whether you're actually doing well or just keeping afloat. I review your income and expenditure regularly - not just to record it, but to make sense of it. Spotting patterns, flagging anomalies, giving you a clear picture of where your money is actually going and why. That's the difference between finances you can trust and finances that quietly undermine every decision you make.

The Questions You Didn't Know Who to Ask
The ones you were Googling at midnight and still weren't sure about.

Should I register for VAT? What does taking on an employee actually cost me? My biggest client is late paying - what are my options? I've had a good year but my accountant says I owe more tax than I expected - why? These are the questions that come up when you're running a business and you don't have a finance director to turn to. I'm here for exactly these conversations - straightforward answers, in plain English, with no agenda other than helping you understand your own situation and make better decisions because of it.

Knowing Where You Stand
Your debtors, your creditors, your cash position - clearly, regularly, reliably.

One of the most valuable things a financial partner can do is make sure you always know exactly where your business stands - not just at year end, but as a matter of course. Who owes you money, how much, and how long they've owed it. What's due to go out, and when. The gap between what's on paper and what's actually in the bank - and why that gap exists. If something needs attention, you'll hear about it before it becomes a problem. In plain English. Not buried in a report you don't have time to read.

Ready to hand the finances over to someone they can genuinely trust

Many work on a project basis or hold stock. Some manage significant assets - vehicles, equipment, or machinery. Some have one employee, some have many. Some are just starting out, some are well established. What they have in common is a business that's genuinely theirs - and a recognition that the right financial support is worth having.

For most business owners, the finances sit somewhere between a nagging worry and a genuine burden - something that gets done late at night, put off until the deadline, or done with just enough confidence to hope it's right. It costs time you don't have, headspace you need for other things, and a low-level stress that's easy to underestimate until it's gone.

That's exactly what working with Numerarti changes - not just the hours you get back, but the clarity, the confidence, and the quiet reassurance that someone who genuinely knows what they're doing is taking care of it.

For most of my clients, it's one of the best decisions they make.

About Numerarti

The longer way around - and better for it.

I always wanted to work in finance and accounts - I just took the scenic route. With experience across finance, business operations, and some genuinely complex environments, I founded Numerarti to do what I love most: helping business owners feel confident and in control of their finances.

I'm ICB qualified with distinction and hold an ICB practice licence. My background spans both the practical, day-to-day side of keeping finances in order and the broader picture - HR, business systems, governance, and what it actually means to be responsible for an organisation's financial health. Whatever stage your business is at, I'd love to help.
